‘Staying home, saving lives as a civilian we are doing our parts diligently but we felt strongly we need to use our skills to help front-line doctors and key-workers who are risking their lives to save our lives in this much needed time. It’s been nearly 2 weeks researching on PPE & masks and working on how can we contribute our skills during this Pandemic . It has been not easy sourcing material during this lockdown however along with our patternmaker & seamstresses we have tried our best to take our own initiative to give back to these brave warriors by using our limited resources. It’s not the N95 masks but we are designing and making hundreds of masks as per CDC guidelines while locked down at home and giving to much needed keyworkers…will continue this as much as our capacity allows.
On this post I am wearing reusable mask, made from 100% organic cotton (no toxic chemicals in fabric) and has a pocket to place mask filter and attach eye protection screen.’ –
