Classic yet stylish each gown in this collection embodies the chic and sophisticated look that Wallis Simpson was renowned for way ahead of her time.
‘Wallis always looked chic and classic; she had mastered the kind of simple yet elegant fashion that every sophisticated woman strives for. From the fitted shift to the wasp-waisted gown Wallis always made a statement. It was that that I wanted to recreate: the sense of iconic style that flatters the figure but will remain stylish for years to come.’ – Sanyukta Shrestha
Sanyukta Shrestha embodies Wallis Simpson’s forward thinking through the use of innovative materials within this collection. Namely a milk fabric, which holds a uniquely soft and iridescent quality perfect for a bridal gown. Also unique to this collection is the Pippa gown- a unique bridal statement piece made entirely from up-cycled newspapers into an innovative shape that disguises the hidden treasures of its material. This design made such an impression at the 2012 Whitechapel Gallery catwalk show that it is now housed in the Fashion Museum, Bath.
Timeless, stylish and iconic- the Wallis In Love collection appeals to the bride that dares to exudes romance, glamour and strength.
